Qualifications

• Active TX OT license is required.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Help clients develop and regain daily living and work skills.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under supervision.
• Adapt therapies to improve safety and independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Educate clients on breaking tasks into small steps and adaptive strategies.
• Recommend and train use of adaptive equipment.
• Assess homes and suggest safe modifications.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers with guidance.
• Track and report progress toward goals.
• Document care accurately and keep records current.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to monitor progress.
