Job summary

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state.

• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological conditions.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides PTA services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborates with the Physical Therapist on treatment plans and progress.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment issues to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates patient needs and progress and assists with adaptive equipment as needed.
• Documents treatment and billing in accordance with regulations.
• Adheres to company policies and professional standards.
• Participates in staff development and continuing education.
