Job summary

Clover Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, field-based role in Georgia. The position involves daily home visits to medically complex Medicare members, with travel across covered areas and a requirement to reside near Bulloch County, GA.

New grads and uncertified MAs are welcome; certified MAs earn higher hourly rates. You will support providers, take vitals, perform phlebotomy, and help close care gaps while documenting in EMRs.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification required.
• 1 year healthcare experience preferred (home-based care a plus).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Basic computer proficiency; comfortable with EMR documentation.
• Able to walk up to 3 flights of stairs and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Providers before, during, and after visits to support patient care.
• Be the friendly, trusted face during visits, assisting with translation, vitals, information gathering, and answering questions.
• Perform phlebotomy and other essential medical tasks as directed by the Provider.
• Help close care gaps, review consent forms, and keep documentation accurate.
• Coordinate through electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain medical supplies and ensure visits are well-prepared.
• Support outreach to schedule visits and strengthen patient engagement.
