Job summary

Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is seeking a Licensed Behavior Specialist to join our growing ABA team in Pennsylvania. The role involves delivering services across center-based, school, home, and community settings with a focus on individualized assessment and intervention.

The ideal candidate holds PA licensure, a Master’s in a related field, and at least 3 years’ experience with autism or developmental disabilities, plus VB-MAPP and FBA experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Behavior Specialist in PA is required.
• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field (ABA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years' experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year experience conducting functional behavior assessments with individuals under 21.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of in-person clinical experience with individuals with behavioral challenges or autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior consultation services in center-based, school, home, and community environments as needed.
• Administer assessments including VB-MAPP, Essentials for Living, Functional Assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Create behavior support plans (BSP) for children on caseload.
• Provide supervision by observing and having team meetings with staff and families.
• Implement data collection systems and modify treatment based on data-based decisions.
• Document progress on goals per position requirements.
• Visit children in-home, in school, or other locations to complete assessments and reassessments.
• Complete all necessary documentation from ITP to discharge for children in caseload.
• Train Behavior Technicians to apply behavioral principles through positive interventions.
