Job summary

The PromptCare Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Lenexa, Kansas.

Under the direction of a Pharmacist, you will provide clinical support, assist with day-to-day duties, and help ensure accurate patient shipments and records. The position is full-time (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm) with opportunities to grow in a home infusion and specialty pharmacy environment, requiring a valid CPhT within 1 year and EMR/Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Active pharmacy technician certificate in state of practice without restrictions.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 1 year of hire date.
• Computer skills: EMR and Microsoft Office required.
• Home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Prepares and tracks outgoing shipments to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Pull, pick and pack supplies and medications for patient shipments under a licensed Pharmacist.
• Coordinates deliveries and performs follow-up calls to patients and/or caregivers.
• Performs data entry of prescription information into EMR and pharmacy tracking systems.
• Remains current with State Board continuing education requirements.
• Assists with pharmacy inventories and related documentation.
