Job summary

AdvisaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse Infusion Specialist to administer home-based infusion therapies, draw labs, monitor patient responses, and coordinate appointments. You’ll work directly with patients in their homes, ensure accurate medication profiles, and communicate with physicians and pharmacists.

Ideal candidates have an RN license and at least two years of clinical experience including infusion therapy; training is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• RN with state license required.
• At least two years of clinical experience including infusion therapy.
• We will train an otherwise competent candidate.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies in the home
• Draw labs and monitor/report results to physicians
• Maintain accurate medication profiles and communicate potential interactions to pharmacists and physicians
• Receive orders and coordinate patient appointments
• Check vital signs, administer therapies, and monitor patient responses
• Provide treatments including hydration, TPN, medications, and solutions
• Maintain accurate records using the EMR
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations with outside assistance when needed
