Job summary

Pathway to Choices, Inc. is seeking an Independent Living Instructor to deliver in-home services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The role focuses on teaching social and communication skills, money management, meal planning, self-care, and advocacy to promote independence.

The position requires staying compliant with agency policies, coordinating with families and professionals, and supporting clients toward ISP and personal goals in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in Developmental Disabilities or related field.
• Computer literacy using Word processing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to individuals in their homes with developmental disabilities.
• Instruct in social and communication skills, money management, meal planning and self-care.
• Assist with transportation planning and coordination as needed.
• Advocate for clients' rights and document progress in ISP and other records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, case managers, families and other stakeholders.
