Job summary

Pathway to Choices, Inc. is seeking an Independent Living Instructor to provide direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. You will teach social and communication skills, money management, meal planning, self-care, and independent living tasks.

The role requires working with diverse individuals, maintaining ISP goals, and coordinating transportation when needed. Benefits include medical and dental, PTO, and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with different behaviors.
• Basic computer literacy (Word/ MS Office).
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Follows agency philosophy and mission.
• Works with consumers to meet ISP and personal goals.
• Advocates for clients’ rights and communicates with stakeholders.
• Promotes self-advocacy and independence in daily living skills.
• Assists with transportation arrangements as needed.
• Completes required paperwork by due dates.
