Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Detroit seeks Associate Veterinarians to provide compassionate, in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. You’ll work independently in the field while supported by a collaborative medical leadership team and strong operational infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must have Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and be eligible for veterinary license in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication when guiding families through end-of-life decisions.
• Ability to work independently in the field with compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care with Fear Free alignment.
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and collaborate with leadership.
