Job summary

Baptist Memorial Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice C.N.A. to provide personal care and support in patients’ homes in Tennessee. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and help ensure a safe home environment under EVV guidance.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and transportation; TN-specific training hours apply. Preferred CPR, 6+ months of home care, and ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 hours of clinical training within first three months of employment.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
