Job summary

Suncrest Hospice, part of the Optum family, seeks a compassionate Hospice C.N.A./Aide to provide personal care and home health support, helping clients remain at home. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, medication reminders, and documenting health status with EVV, in a respectful, confidential manner.

State-specific requirements apply in Tennessee, including 75 hours of training with 16 hours clinical, CPR within 90 days, and ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
