Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is hiring a Home Health Caregiver to provide in-home support for disabled and elderly clients in their own homes. You will assist with daily activities, monitor safety, and help clients maintain independence.

Starting pay is $13 per hour with a 40-hour work week and flexible 4-, 6-, or 8-hour shifts. This role emphasizes compassionate care, excellent communication with clients and families, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Maintain client safety through regular wellness checks and environmental monitoring
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being
• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team
• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs

Position Overview:

As a Caregiver, you'll provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
