Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a part-time Home Health Caregiver to support clients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being through compassionate, individualized care.

You will assist with ADLs, meal prep, mobility support, and medication reminders, while maintaining safety and documenting changes for the healthcare team. Flexible schedule with starting pay at $12.75 per hour.

Position Overview:

As a Caregiver, you'll provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Maintain client safety through regular wellness checks and environmental monitoring
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being
• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team
• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs
