Job summary

OneHome, a Humana-backed home health provider in Florida, seeks a Home Health Aide to keep patients' environments clean and safe, and to support in-home care. You will monitor patient conditions, provide personal care, and teach families how to assist with daily activities.

The role requires HHA 75 Hour Certificate or CNA license, CPR, OSHA, and other health/safety certificates, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience. Valid Florida driver’s license and insurance are also needed.

Qualifications

• HHA 75 Hour Certificate or CNA license required.
• CPR, OSHA, HIV/AIDS, HIPAA, Alzheimer's and Domestic Violence certificates preferred.
• Minimum 1+ year experience supporting individuals with disabilities or challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient environment clean and safe following standard procedures.
• Monitor and record patient condition, intake/output, and exercise.
• Provide personal services: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Teach families use of cane/walker and proper meals and hygiene.
• Record information in patient journal and notify supervisor of changes.
• Adhere to asepsis standards and home care policies; ensure safety and security.
