Job summary

Home Care Agency LLC is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide personalized in-home care. You will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor health status, and collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, assisted living, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and the ability to follow care plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards clients and their families.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring in and out of bed, walking, and using assistive devices.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to established dietary plans.
• Administer medications and monitor adherence as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and general tidying of the living space.
• Monitor and document clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervisors or medical staff.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for clients.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and meet the clients’ needs effectively.
