Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a Part-time Home Health Caregiver to assist clients in their own homes in the Houston area. You will support daily living activities, monitor safety, and help maintain comfort and independence.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, meal prep, hydration, mobility support, and light housekeeping, with flexible evenings and 18 hours per week. Prior caregiving experience is preferred; transportation is required.

Position Overview:

As a Caregiver, you'll provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene




• Maintain client safety through regular wellness checks and environmental monitoring




• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration




• Assist with medication reminders and compliance




• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment




• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed




• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being




• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team




• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience

Employment Details:

• Compensation: Starting at $12.75 per hour
