Astrocare Home Healthcare in Alvin, TX is seeking a part-time Home Health Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support for clients, helping with daily activities and ensuring safety and comfort.

The schedule is Monday–Wednesday, 4 pm–8 pm (12 hours/week) with 5-hour shifts, reliable transportation required, and benefits include health insurance and flexible scheduling. Documentation and coordination with the care team are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intimate in-home care including ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Maintain client safety through wellness checks and environmental monitoring.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration.
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being.
• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team.
• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs.

Position Overview:

As a Caregiver, you'll provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Maintain client safety through regular wellness checks and environmental monitoring
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
