Job summary

The Center for Children & Families is seeking a Family Therapist to provide in-home counseling to children and families across the Central Mississippi region, reporting to the Clinton, MS office. You will implement evidence-based programs such as FFT, FFT-CW, and TF-CBT to empower families toward stability and healthier environments.

Responsibilities include conducting in-home sessions, documenting case notes, coordinating with supervisors, and completing required trainings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work required.
• DMH Credentials (PCMHT/CMHT) required; preference for licensed or provisionally licensed PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, or LMFT.
• Master’s in Social Work requires LCSW; licensure not required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home and community-based therapy services, primarily in clients' homes.
• Conduct in-person sessions; telehealth only when medically needed.
• Complete training in FFT, FFT-CW, and TF-CBT; develop personalized treatment plans.
• Assess clients and create plans; support families to leverage strengths and resources.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and documentation.
