AMIkids Family Services in Clinton, SC is hiring a Family Support Specialist to deliver in-home family skills training and psychoeducation for youth entering and leaving the program. The role operates in the Spartanburg area, requiring travel within the region and collaboration with families, schools, and community partners.

The position emphasizes partnership development, progress reporting, and adherence to the AMIkids Personal Growth Model (PGM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Two (2) years’ experience working with at risk or troubled youth preferred.
• Ability to travel; up to 80% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-home family skills training and psychoeducation.
• Coordinate activities to identify family needs and supports in the community.
• Develop partnerships with key individuals and school/community contacts.
• Administer psychoeducation services following AMIkids Personal Growth Model (PGM).
• Ensure family assessments and treatment plans meet contractual guidelines.
• Prepare weekly session notes and progress updates; participate in team meetings.
• Attend trainings and maintain required certifications and licenses.

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field

Master’s degree (preferred)
