Hubbard County in Minnesota seeks an engaged Child Welfare Assistant to help prevent out-of-home placements by working directly in homes with families. You will oversee supervised visitations, model parenting strategies, and collaborate with social workers to set goals and provide essential services.

Responsibilities include tutoring families on budgeting, health, and nutrition, guiding stress management during separations, and supporting court-related processes as needed.

• Knowledge of human behavior, family dynamics, and child development.
• Strong public speaking and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work within laws, confidentiality and safety requirements.
• Proficient in using automated systems relevant to the position.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
