Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking a Family Support Case Manager to provide in-home visiting services for families with young children, helping them build confidence and healthy parenting skills. You will develop individualized plans, educate on child development, and support families in resolving co-parenting tensions to promote positive outcomes.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field and at least six months in a social service or health

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• At least six months experience in a social service or health care setting; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance (liability coverage $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home visiting services to parents, first-time parents, and families with young children to promote positive outcomes.
• Create individualized plans to help parents develop confidence in caring for their children and building self-esteem.
• Provide education about child growth and development and offer support and reinforcement for healthy parenting skills.
• Offer assistance to all family members to resolve tensions and discord that can arise around co-parenting, visitation, discipline.
