Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is seeking a Family Support Case Manager to provide in-home visiting services and individualized plans for families with young children.

You will educate on child development and reinforce healthy parenting skills while helping families resolve co-parenting tensions and communication challenges. A driver’s license is required for this role and reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• At least six months experience in a social service or health care setting; 2+ years preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home visiting services to parents, first-time parents, and families with young children to promote positive outcomes.
• Create individualized plans to help parents develop confidence in caring for their children and building self-esteem.
• Provide education about child growth and development and offer support and reinforcement for healthy parenting skills.
• Offer assistance to all family members to resolve tensions and discord that can arise around co-parenting, visitation, discipline, etc.
