Boys Town in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an In-Home Family Services Specialist. You will support families in their own homes, helping them build parenting skills and strengthen relationships.

The role starts with a starting pay of $20.50–$23.50 per hour and requires full-time availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call hours. This position offers comprehensive training, ongoing support, career development, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of two years of post secondary education.
• At least two years of experience working with children and families.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home support and teach practical skills to strengthen families.
• Connect families with community resources (schools, healthcare, social services).
• Offer crisis intervention and guidance when needed.
• Build strong relationships with families and collaborate with teachers, doctors, and social workers.
• Develop service plans, monitor progress, and maintain documentation.
