Job summary

Pressley Ridge seeks a Family Centered Treatment Practitioner to deliver structured, goal-oriented care in the natural environment for families involved with child welfare, juvenile justice, and related systems. The role aims to maintain the family unit and avoid out-of-home placements.

You will conduct crisis intake, assessments, and interventions while coordinating with supervision and other providers to ensure safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human service from an accredited college.
• 1 year of experience working with at-risk children and families.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred to enhance communication.
• Certification through the Family Centered Treatment Foundation (FCTF).
• State Police, FBI clearance, and child abuse clearances per state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intake, assess needs, intervene, evaluate problems, monitor progress and after-care linkage.
• Deliver services in home and community settings with the family as the unit.
• Complete documentation including treatment plans, progress notes and assessments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor regarding program matters.
• Coordinate care with families and other providers; professional communication.
• Support family advocacy with outside agencies.
• Conduct at least two multi-hour sessions weekly with each family system; average 6 hours weekly per client family.
