Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an In-Home Executive Functioning Coach to work one-on-one with elementary students in the Philadelphia area, helping them develop organization, planning, time management, and study strategies.

The role is part-time (up to 20 hours/week) as a 1099 contractor, with after-school and weekend sessions. You will tailor strategies to each student’s needs, communicate with parents, and foster independence and motivation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students on executive functioning or academic coaching.
• Energetic, patient, and empathetic.
• Committed to providing excellent, individualized support.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to connect with and motivate students.
• Experience working with diverse learning styles and needs.

Responsibilities

• Part time 1099 Contractor position, up to 20 hours per week. In-person, typically after school and on weekends
• Provide in-home, personalized coaching to help students strengthen executive functioning skills (organization, planning, time management, focus, etc.)
• Develop and implement customized strategies to meet each student’s unique needs and learning style
• Support students in setting and achieving academic and personal goals
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss progress and strategies for continued success
• Offer supplemental academic and enrichment support when needed
• Foster independence, confidence, and motivation in students
