Job summary

GreenSavers in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Home Performance Consultant to combine in‑home assessments with consultative energy‑efficiency sales. You’ll meet homeowners, understand budgets, prepare estimates, and guide customers from first visit to signed contracts, while hitting monthly sales targets.

The role: base pay plus commission, travel to customers’ homes, standard weekday hours, and opportunities to grow with training and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three years of successful sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in in-home consultative sales or familiarity with home energy efficiency would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners, understand their priorities and budget, and complete home energy consultations, audits, and estimates.
• Work with sales support to prepare reports and proposals; deliver proposals within three business days of the appointment.
• Explain scope, pricing, incentives, and financing; secure signed agreements and coordinate deposits or financing follow-up.
• Keep customer records, project documentation, and your sales pipeline current.
• Hand off complete project details to production and respond to questions through installation and any needed quality assurance.
