Job summary

Highland Energy Services is seeking an Energy Specialist to perform in-home audits for PG&E customers, confirming eligibility for the Energy Savings Assistance Program and coordinating home energy upgrades.

The role involves completing required trainings, earning CSLB HISC and PG&E certifications, and scheduling/processing enrollments on a timely basis. Strong independence and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid California driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation to perform in-home visits.
• Ability to work autonomously and report findings clearly.
• Experience with Excel/Word preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete required Energy Specialist Training before starting work.
• Obtain Energy Specialist certification from PG&E Energy Training Center.
• Acquire HISC license through CSLB.
• Process enrollments and forms weekly to meet payroll deadlines.
• Document and communicate actions and needs.
• Canvass to obtain appointments and accept appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality of processes.
• Communicate with Inside Sales and Call Center Manager.
• Attend monthly meetings.
• Report to appointments on time.
