Job summary

Stratus seeks an EEG Setup Technician to perform in-home diagnostic testing, electrode placement, and patient education across diverse age groups. You will set up EEG equipment and cameras, ensuring safety and accuracy in readings, and assist with EKG testing if ordered by a physician.

You must travel up to 95% to various locations, including out of state, and uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and confidentiality standards while maintaining meticulous data and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered EEG Tech credentialing by BRNDT/ABRET and/or Joint Commission experience a plus.
• Superior customer service skills with ability to establish rapport.
• Must travel up to 95%, including out of state travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG testing on patients in their homes with accurate electrode placement.
• Ensure all procedures are completed in an organized, efficient manner.
• Interact with patients and families to put them at ease.
• Adhere to guidelines of ASET and regulatory standards; ensure safety.
• Set up EEG equipment and cameras; test equipment in the home.
• Instruct patients about any EKG testing as ordered by physician.
• Capture patient history and coordinate care across age ranges.
• Manage inventory and upload completed studies promptly.
• Verify patient information at disconnect; maintain HIPAA compliance.
