Job summary

STRATUS DX is seeking an EEG Setup Tech to perform in-home diagnostic testing across assigned visits, placing electrodes with accuracy and educating patients to ensure comfort and understanding of the process.

The role requires up to 95% travel, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication to coordinate with patients and families while complying with HIPAA and safety standards. A high school diploma is required; ABRET/JCI credentialing is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered EEG Tech credentialing by ABRET and/or Joint Commission experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 95% and drive to multiple locations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG testing on patients in their home with proper electrode placement and skin care.
• Ensure all ordered procedures are completed in an organized, efficient manner.
• Interact with patients and family members to put them at ease.
• Set up EEG equipment and cameras to ensure safety and accuracy of readings.
• If EKG testing is ordered, ensure electrodes are attached properly and educate the patient.
• Take pertinent patient history and integrate care for all ages.
