Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, provides in-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders. You will plan and deliver weekly in-home sessions, assess progress, and coach families to support language, cognitive, and motor development.

Part-time hours (about 20-25 per week) with potential to grow to full-time, mileage reimbursement, and advancement opportunities within Sevita.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; substitutions considered.
• CA driver's license in good standing.
• At least one year of history as a licensed driver.
• Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, compassion, quality focus, attention to detail, and organization.
• Availability mostly during daytime on weekdays with some evenings/weekends.
• In-home early intervention services for infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and provide weekly in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and autism programs.
• Administer and document program assessments and updates to meet timelines.
• Design and adapt activities for language, cognitive, motor, sensory, self-help and social-emotional development.
• Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written parenting guidance and weekly activities.
• Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with family and team.
