Job summary

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to deliver in-home therapeutic services for infants and toddlers in Corona and surrounding areas. The role involves planning, implementing, and documenting assessments; coordinating with families and team; and providing coaching to parents to support developmental progress.

Full-time position (~32 hours/week) with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health/human services required; substitutions allowed with relevant experience.
• Must have CA driver's license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle.
• Experience working with children and/or volunteering with children is strongly encouraged; include in resume.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and provide weekly in-home early educational services for infants/toddlers with disabilities.
• Administer and document program assessments and updates to meet timelines.
• Design and adapt activities for language, cognitive, motor, sensory and social-emotional development.
• Model effective adult-child interactions and coach parents with weekly activities.
• Monitor, document and share the child’s progress with the family and team.
