Job summary

Butler County Educational Service Center is hiring an Early Childhood Home Visitor to work full-time (260 days) providing in-home support to families with children aged 0–3. The role emphasizes building trusting relationships, supporting parent-child bonding, and coordinating with partners to meet developmental and health needs.

The candidate will document billable time, maintain caseloads, and collaborate with community resources to empower families toward self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; associates degree considered with extensive experience.
• Experience with culturally diverse families.
• Minimum two years' experience with children and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop with the family an individualized program prioritizing trust and respect.
• Conduct home visits with pregnant moms, parents or caregivers to support child development.
• Document and track billable time and manage a caseload to meet visit requirements.
• Coordinate with other providers to ensure seamless services for children aged 0–3.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, family studies, early childhood education or equivalent
