Job summary

Butler County Educational Service Center in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support families and children birth to three. Responsibilities include referrals, home visits, IFSP coordination, and progress monitoring with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in related field, with experience or training in early childhood services. Proficiency in Spanish preferred; valid driver's license required. Part-time, 29.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in social work, family studies, early childhood education or equivalent.
• Two years' experience with children and families preferred.
• Training in early childhood disabilities and developmental evaluations.
• Experience or knowledge in writing IFSP.
• Knowledge of agencies/resources and preschool placement procedures.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to vehicle.
• Proficiency in Spanish written and verbal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and processes referrals for birth to three.
• Initiates contact with families for interviews and home visits.
• Collects and reviews developmental, medical, and social-emotional information for eligibility.
• Completes developmental evaluations and assessments using standardized tools.
• Identifies strengths and needs with families and caregivers.
• Supports families in understanding rights and benefits of EI services.
• Works with multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and monitor progress.
• Maintains accurate documentation per regulations.
