Job summary

A community support organization is seeking caring and patient Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their In Home Supports team on a part-time basis. Working in Havertown and Newtown Square, DSPs will assist adults with developmental disabilities and help them maintain their independence in a home environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and prefer some experience in direct care. Offers paid training, with an hourly rate starting at $17, and various benefits depending on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass background checks and physical examinations.
• Preferred: one year of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in various tasks.
• Provide supports as outlined in the individual's plan of care.
• Maintain appropriate case notes for individuals served.
