Job summary

Aptiv, Inc. in Janesville, WI is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities and seniors to live independently at home.

You will provide personal care, companionship, and support during home visits to promote health, safety, and social engagement. Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks, transportation to appointments and activities, and encouraging an active lifestyle while supporting independence.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Negative TB skin test (provided by Aptiv).
• Ability to pass a caregiver background test.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation with valid registration and up-to-date auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other tasks.
• Provide companionship and socialization during client visits.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, grocery stores, etc.
• Encourage an active lifestyle and independence.
