Empowered Services in Oregon City is hiring an entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide consistent, structured care for individuals of all ages in the Yamhill County area. No prior DSP experience required—paid training provided.

This role focuses on supporting daily routines, community activities, and helping individuals build independence while maintaining clear boundaries and a supportive, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance meeting state requirements.
• Ability to pass a background check; not all records disqualifying.
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living routines (meals, hygiene, organization).
• Assist with community access (shopping, errands, outings).
• Provide emotional regulation support using calm, structured approaches.
• Maintain clear boundaries and consistent expectations.
• Assist with household upkeep and organization.
• Encourage independence and personal responsibility.
• Communicate updates with care teams and complete required documentation.
• Help maintain a safe, predictable, and respectful environment.
