Job summary

HAVE Support, Inc. seeks dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one Personal Supports in a private home for an adult with developmental disabilities.

Ideal candidates are patient, respectful, reliable, and committed to helping individuals maintain independence and participate in their communities. Applicants must be comfortable in a home with cats and meet Maryland DDA training and background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience providing in-home Personal Supports or similar direct care preferred.
• Experience assisting individuals with mobility limitations or wheelchair accessibility needs is a plus.
• Ability to provide respectful, person-centered support.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support independence with dressing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and routines.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and organized living space.
