Job summary

Family Relief Resources in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide in-home care for a nonverbal 7-year-old girl. Responsibilities include feeding, dressing, hygiene, and outings in the community, with duties at Mom's and Dad's houses as scheduled.

The role requires lifting, 50 lbs, G-tube experience, and a commitment of at least 4 consecutive days per week to ensure consistency for the client.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Pass a Criminal History Check.
• Must be able to lift and transfer 50 lbs.
• G-tube experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care including feeding, hygiene, toileting, and community activities.
• Observe nonverbal cues to assess needs and emotions.
• Monitor health and communicate concerns to parents; administer medications as directed.
