Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home support for an individual living independently in their own apartment. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and compassionate, hands-on care, with paid training and opportunities for growth.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.50 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when full-time hours are averaged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass criminal and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care and transfer assistance.
• Paid onboarding and training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive and supportive relationship with the individual.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship and engage in preferred activities.
• Monitor health, safety, and comfort during shifts.
• Document services and communicate with family and Abound Health team.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
