Job summary

Zinga's is seeking a Design Consultant to join our team and help homeowners transform their spaces with premium interior and exterior shading solutions.

This is an in-home consultative sales role where you’ll meet with customers at pre-set appointments scheduled by our team—no cold calling, no prospecting. You’ll guide customers through product options, take accurate measurements, craft design recommendations, and close the sale with an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative, high-ticket in-home sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for one-on-one settings.
• Ability to learn product offerings quickly and adapt to customers.

Responsibilities

• Attend company-provided, pre-set in-home appointments with qualified customers.
• Conduct a professional consultation: identify needs, style preferences, and functional goals.
• Educate customers on product features, materials, and upgrade options (including motorization).
• Take precise measurements and document details for quoting and ordering.
• Prepare and present pricing, proposals, and design recommendations; close sales.
• Maintain accurate customer notes and follow-ups in CRM.
• Collaborate with scheduling, operations, and installation teams for smooth handoff.
• Represent the company with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.
