Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care for seniors, one-on-one in clients homes with empathy and integrity.

You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help clients age in place while maintaining dignity and safety. Flexible full- or part-time schedules, paid mileage, and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with daily living tasks such as feeding, reminders, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, meals
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance
