Job summary

Senior Helpers provides nonmedical inhome care to help seniors stay independent and safe at home. We offer consistent weekly hours, supportive leadership, and dementia-capable training, with clients near your home.

This role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and maintaining independence in the client’s residence. Ideal candidates value teamwork and good communication, and will receive training for dementia care and ongoing support from Senior Helpers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance
• Functioning smartphone
• Ability to use basic technology (email, apps, messaging)
• Compassion, reliability, and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship
• Support clients with personal care, walking assistance, and daily activities
• Prepare simple meals and help with diet monitoring
• Assist with safe mobility and fall prevention
• Provide updates on client condition using our easy mobile app
• Support clients recovering from hospital stays or managing chronic conditions
• Help clients stay independent at home
