Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality home-based OT services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This PRN role emphasizes patient-centered care in clients' residences and requires strong interpersonal skills and reliable transportation.

Qualifications include an accredited OTA program, current licensure (OTA/COTA), CPR and Hepatitis profile, and a valid driver’s license with auto liability insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Collegiate Occupational Therapy Assistant Program with a Science or Applied Science Degree.
• Current licensure in state of practice as an OTA or COTA.
• 1 year experience as OTA preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proof of CPR and Hepatitis profile.
• Valid driver's license with current auto liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated occupational therapy to patients in their place of residence under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT.
• Collaborate with family/caregivers to facilitate home-based OT goals.
