Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-home OT services under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will administer interventions, collect data, and adjust plans to progress patients while ensuring safety and comfort during visits.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited COTA program, holds CPR certification, and has an unrestricted state license or registration.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited COTA program.
• CPR certification is current and required.
• Current unrestricted COTA license or registration (state-specific).
• Experience per State Board requirements to treat patients in home health.
• Therapy skills aligned with AOTA standards.
• Strong communication with patients, families, supervising OTs, and referrals.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment for OT needs.
• Reliable transportation with auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Implement selected components of patient interventions and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team regularly.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during home visits.
