Job summary

Northeast Arc seeks a Community Support Coach to provide 1:1 in-home and community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities. You will help clients build skills for independence, including community integration, daily living, and social engagement within the Northshore area.

The role involves working per diem, 2-10 hours weekly, with in-person visits and documentation via required technology. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient technology skills to complete documentation and clock in/out.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home and community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Accompany and support individuals in accessing community locations.
• Assist with goal-directed activities such as light physical activity, arts and crafts, and cooking.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow agency policies.
