Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients following each person’s ISP, promoting independence and daily living success.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it. Flexible scheduling and local NJ cases are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per the ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with individuals you support.
