Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with individuals in home and community settings, following each person’s ISP, to promote independence and daily living success.

APPLICANTS must be 18+, with a high school diploma or GED preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on home and community support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
