Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities throughout New Jersey. DSPs work one-on-one following each person’s ISP to promote independence, daily living skills and community engagement.

We offer flexible hours, local cases close to home, and a supportive management team. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED (preferred), a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
