Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs work one-on-one with clients in their homes, enabling comfort, safety, and independence with flexible scheduling and a responsive care team.

Vacancies include full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts where applicable. Ongoing clinical and supervisory support, opportunities for advancement, and mileage reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers, including use of assistive devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Assist with daily care tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, linens, and meal prep.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting independence.
• Report concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance.
