Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Patient Care division, part of LHC Group, seeks Home Health Aides or CNAs to provide in-home personal care and health-related services, supporting patients’ physical and emotional well-being across diverse communities.

You'll earn $13.00–$20.00 per hour, with full-time schedules and a comprehensive benefits package. A valid driver's license, insurance, reliable transportation, and CT training are required; CPR certification preferred or achievable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
• CT: 75-hour state training approved by CT.
• CPR certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
• 6+ months of home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and designated health-related services to maintain the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, transfers, peri care).
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt when traveling for work.
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients’ personal care.
• Able to function in any home situation regardless of client background.
